Is there a way, other than a "Generic Element, Phantom, angled spar" to input a spoiler?
Most times standard trailing edge stock is used anyway. So why not a simple drop down box with standard sized stock, where the program can identify the top edge to be aligned to the upper outer profile of the wing.
The method I used, where I had to calculate the angle and distances works, it is just a bit time consuming and prone to multiple errors. -

I don't understand well what you mean by 'spoiler', but see devWing: www.devcad.com/eng/devwing.asp . -

Spoliers - used on gliders on the upper surface of the wing to help limit lift and control the descent rate

You can apply a dummy spar to have those slots on ribs . -

You can just add sheeting to the surface in the desired location for spoilers. This will create the rib cut outs then modify the wing plan so they show up with the correct spread. If you want the spoiler tapered you have to modify the rib cut out manually. I'm using DevWing Pro though. Only way I know of. .
