I have successfully created my foam wing panel but what I'm able to work out is how to create a tapered/rounded wing tip. The reason I want to do this is so I can export to a STL file to create a mold. A sample picture is attached below of a flying wing with rounded tips which is what i'm trying to achieve.
Any advice is appreciated

Actually that is not possible. I'm developing devWing Mold to do that, but it will available only next year I suppose.
Using the new application you could also draw the wing plan and the tip shape
kind regards

Still no news, I just released devFus Mold, now I'm improving devStl Tools, next application will be probably devWing Mold.
May be a first release will be before the end of 2014, but I cannot warrant that. -
.
Today has been released version Beta 1 of devWing Mold.
DevWing Mold is a new application to create in a very simple way plugs and molds of complex wings, as STL files.
This is a Beta release, the Help is still not included.
You can download it : here.
In the next days the Web site will include more info about the application, then the final 1.00 release will be available as soon as possible. This release will include the Help file.. -

Is there a way to export from devWing Mold to a dxf to allow modification in autocad then re-import back into devWing Mold to create the stl file? . -

Now that Wing Mold 1 has been released, can you answer the original question in this thread - How to create both a tapered and rounded tip.
SS/. -
.
The tip is like a wing panel, so you can use those drawing features.
You can try the application and see if that is enough for you.
If not you can export the stl file of truncated wing, and try an external 3D Cad to add the rounded tip..
